ShowMyDiscounts shows you nearby places where your bank cards get a discount, in Pakistan and United Arab Emirates. It has no accounts and collects no personal profile. Here is exactly what happens to your data.

The short version

• There is no sign-up. We never ask for your name, email or phone number.
• We never ask for and never receive a card number. You pick banks, not cards.
• Your card selection stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
• Your location is used to run the “what’s near me” search. It is not stored on our servers or attached to any identity.
• No advertising, no data sales, no third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

Your cards

The cards you select are stored in your browser’s local storage, under a key per country (cdnm.cards.PK, cdnm.cards.AE). They are bank names only — the app has no field for a card number, expiry or CVV, and no way to accept one. That selection never leaves your device: it is used locally to filter the offers we ask for, and the query we send names the banks, not you.

Your location

When you open the app it asks your browser for your location. Your browser will only give it to us if you grant permission, and you can refuse or revoke it at any time — the app still works, you just pan the map yourself instead of starting where you are.

To be precise about where the coordinates go: the nearby search is a spatial database query, so your latitude and longitude aresent to our database (hosted on Supabase, in Mumbai) as the parameters of that query. They are used to compute the answer and are not written to any table, not logged into a profile, and not linked to any identifier — we have no identifier for you to link them to. Your most recent coordinates are also kept in your browser’s local storage (cdnm.lastloc.v1) so that a return visit opens where you left off.

Other things stored in your browser

Your language choice (cdnm.lang). That is the complete list alongside the two above. The app sets no cookies of its own. Everything here is cleared by clearing site data for this site in your browser.

Reporting a wrong deal

If you use the one-tap report on a deal (“expired”, “wrong location”…), we receive which deal you reported, what you picked, and an optional note if you write one. To stop one person flooding the review queue, we store a salted hash of your IP address; the raw IP address is not stored.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to count page views and understand which parts of the app get used. It is cookieless and does not build a cross-site profile of you; what we see is aggregate — pages viewed, referrer, country, device and browser type. We do not use it to identify individuals, and we cannot connect it to your cards or your location.

Who else sees a request

Using the app means your browser makes requests to a few providers, which necessarily see your IP address and standard request details as part of serving them: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (the offers database), and Cloudflare R2 (map tiles, fonts and merchant logos). We do not send them anything about you beyond what a normal web request contains.

Where the deal data comes from

The discounts themselves are collected from banks’ own published offer pages. That is information about merchants and promotions — nothing about you is involved in producing it.

Children

The app is a directory of card promotions and is not directed at children. Because there are no accounts, we collect no age information.

Changes

If what the app does changes, this page changes with it, and the date above moves. There is no mailing list to notify, because we do not have your email address.
